How to get there, on doc.govt.nzThe track is accessed from Victoria Street, behind Tararu, just north of Thames. There is a small carpark at the start of the track.

Rocky’s walk takes you through an old mining area just north of Thames.
The route
From the carpark, the walk climbs steeply before flattening out along a ridge. This ridge gives great views of the Firth of Thames. After 3.3 km or approximately 1.5 hrs the track joins the Waiotahi Track .
