M'Ocean Song Hosted Stays
Hosted by Embodied Freedom
About this space
Welcome to M'Ocean Song, Mountain and Ocean Song, in Wainui Bay. A hosted visit to Tui Community, and a sanctuary for reconnecting with nature and community. Join Sybille, a dedicated long-term member of Tui, in a beautiful self-built home. This is your chance to gain insight into community living, ask questions, and immerse yourself in the Tui lifestyle. Enjoy a community meal, let your children engage in unique experiences, and explore the Abel Tasman National Park, right at our doorstep. The house is an insulated cordwood design with curved walls and mosaics, in a private setting surrounded by native bush, with views over Wainui Bay. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach. Solar and wetback water heating. A warm, well-equipped kitchen with a large dining table, two fridges, a breakfast bar and an outdoor eating area that seats up to 20. A big empty space for yoga, meditation, group workshops, play and dance. Two showers, one indoors and one outdoors, an outdoor bath, two composting toilets, and a spacious lawn. "I have built this home as a family home and now that my sons are growing up I want to share it with others. It is now a resource for myself and the wider community."
