Solscape
Raglan, Waikato
About this place
Held by Maunga Karioi, wrapped in ten acres of regenerating native bush and set before the Tasman Sea, Solscape is a coastal wellness sanctuary. Our intention for this place lives in the land: to give people what it has given us. Connection, nourishment, sustainability and support. Nothing here is off a plan. Earth domes hand built from the ground beneath them. Railway cabooses and a 1950s Overlander carriage rescued and restored into places to sleep. Permaculture gardens that feed Sol Kitchen, our weekend cafe with the best view in Raglan. Yoga in the Tui Room, a guided sauna and cold plunge at Solspring on site, surfboard and wetsuit hire, and bush tracks up Karioi. We have practised sustainable living here for more than twenty years. Travelling in a van? Park up with us. Simple non powered sites in the car park, or a powered site with your own spot and paddock views, with our shared kitchen, bathrooms and the lounge with its wood fire on hand. Ngarunui Beach and Raglan's point breaks are minutes away, and town is a few minutes' drive. Two hours from Auckland, forty five minutes from Hamilton. Reception is open 8.30am to 11.30am and 3pm to 6pm every day. Come for a night, a class, a coffee, or a reset. Do not be surprised if you stay longer.
