Welcome to our 10th celebration of Embodied Intimacy, a multi day immersion to deepen self-awareness and enhance interpersonal connections through somatic practices, conscious movement and community. A Somatic Authentic Relating Laboratory, for you to experiment and evolve in your ability to relate to yourself and others.
Embodied Intimacy is designed to create a brave space together to enhance your creativity and your presence. We slow down, listen to the body, and focus on authentic human connection.
Over the five days you will explore a deeper "yes" to your life, discover more resources to be in connection with yourself and a closer relationship to your feelings, the source of your own radiance. Through guided embodied exercises, you will walk away with actionable tools for your everyday life, the possibility to communicate more honestly, become more assertive and be more in touch with what you want.
Intimacy, in the context of this event
- Authentic human connection, with yourself, with others, and with nature.
- Presence without story, meeting someone or yourself in the now, without masks or roles.
- Vulnerability and courage, sharing what is real for you.
- Embodied connection, discovering your physical, emotional, mental, archetypal and energetic bodies.
- A doorway to transformation, not a goal, instead a space where you choose to meet yourself new.
What is included
- Daily Embodied Freedom movement practice deep dives each morning.
- Afternoon integration and practice sessions: authentic self-expression, boundary setting, emotional literacy and relational skills.
- Evening group sessions and celebrations.
- Four nights of camping and three nourishing vegetarian meals each day. For extra cost we can book you a room in a house nearby.
- Optional daily yoga, sauna and hot tub.
- An online integration space (Telegram group) after the event.
You will journey this transformative space with others who dare to be real, forming a community of courage, authenticity and love.
Good to know
Many people come without knowing anyone, and the majority fly solo. Couples are welcome too. All levels of fitness and all ages have come over the years, with chairs in the movement spaces. We welcome individuals of all sexual orientations and gender expressions; our exercises are not based on gender. Everyone arrives on Wednesday and stays until Sunday: we start together and finish together.
The Tui Events Park is nestled between the Abel Tasman National Park and Wainui Beach, across the road from Tui Community, and has attracted people from every corner of the globe over the last 40 years.
